respectable hotel, the staff was incredibly kind, good service. the rooms with a large bed, outstanding view, a jacuzzi. reasonably priced and fine food for breakfast.

The hotel is new and is very comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good in a large room with a beautiful view on the lake.

The hotel is located far from the town center (some half hour walk), but this is not a real drawback in Calafate since all excursions (and airport transfers as well) pick you up (and drop) directly at your hotel.

The location is not so good

The hotel was a very reasonable price, reflecting it´s location slightly away from the city but within 2 minutes drive of downtown so the savings in money was worth it. Breakfast very good with wide variety of choices. Directions to hotel need to improve but once you find it all ok. Very modern with breathtaking view. Don´t let gravel road to it dissuade, that is normal for all roads away from main streets. We enjoyed it.

The hotel is located down the hill, around a 20-min walk from the city center. However, it's still immediately near the center and getting a cab is always cheap. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is accommodating to guests' needs. One perk is that some rooms have beautiful views of the lake and flamingos. The breakfast is decent, with homemade pastries and fruit salad.

The downside is that the hotel is situated on a dirt road with heavy traffic, which might disturb guests inside their rooms.

Terrazas is set high above the lake. This is a boutique hotel. Every room has a great view of the lake. We had a suite with a double whirlpool bath. The water is heated using geothermal energy. It is great relaxing in the tub and being able to look out at the lake. The Chef at the restuarant will customize the dinner to meet your tastes if you talk to her in advance. It is almost like having a personal Chef. We made the mistake of going into town for dinner the first night (awful food). After that we had great dinners at the hotel.

The town is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Also, the breakfast is a childs delight with candies and sweet pasteries. We would prefer fewer sweets and some hard rolls and breakfast meats.

I recently had a memorable city break and stayed at a hotel with an amazing view. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were quite spacious and the breakfast was fresh. The lobby was quite cozy and had a nice vibe. the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced.

The location was a bit far from the city centre and required a walk to get to the restaurants. , there was no elevator, so dealing with your suitcase using stairs was a bit laborious.

If you don't make a reservation for dinner, you wouldn't be seated despite there are a lot of unserved tables. Also you should make an order in advance, otherwise they wouldn't feed you.

The view from the rooms are incredibly amazing.
